I'm just kidding y'all. Sheesh!
We were invited to a costume party for our nephew where we had to dress up like our favorite characters. The second I heard that, I looked at him and said, "You're Leonard!" You know, Leonard from The Big Bang Theory?!?! There couldn't be a better character for him to dress up as. So with that, I decided to be Leonard's girlfriend Penny. I went to thrift store after thrift store and couldn't find what I wanted for her, so I decided to change and be Bernadette from the same show. I went to Target and found THE PERFECT dress for her. My mom's friend had a wig she let me borrow and we were set. We got to the party and everyone knew exactly who we were. It was the most fun I've had with a costume.
Here are the "real" Leonard and Bernadette.
So now, I present to you the stand in Leonard and Bernadette. How do you think we did? (Please forgive the photo quality. Bad lighting and phones don't mix.)

ReplyDeleteWe LOVE that show. We laugh so hard every time we watch it. Your costumes are GREAT! Love them. Don't laugh, but I keep telling my husband one Halloween we are going as Dog The Bounty Hunter and his wife! :)

ReplyDeleteSoo...we're really behind the times and JUST started watching Big Bang Theory (I think we're on episode 6?), we LOVE it. Sooo stinkin' funny! But now I know Penny & Leonard end up together. Spoiler!! Hahaha just kidding, it's not your fault we're slow. :)
